This Lebus split drum shell is manufactured from Q355D steel, with 60° right-hand rope grooves and bolted connection, net weight 1311.4kg. It suits Φ52mm steel wire rope with 30.5 rope grooves, guiding the wire rope to wind smoothly and prevent disorder and abrasion. The surface is coated with epoxy zinc-rich primer to deliver excellent rust and corrosion resistance. Custom fabrication is available according to drawings, widely used for heavy-duty crane winches with convenient installation and maintenance.

Matters Need to Attention

1. Inspect the drum shell, bolts and rope grooves thoroughly before installation, remove burrs and debris, verify dimension matching with winch drum, and avoid forced assembly.
2. Tighten bolts diagonally and evenly to specified torque. Recheck bolt preload regularly to prevent loosening under heavy load operation.
3. Use Φ52mm steel wire rope only. Overload operation is prohibited. Inspect wire rope routinely to prevent rope damage that accelerates drum groove wear.
4. Keep away from strong corrosive agents during storage and operation. Touch up coating damage promptly to maintain the anti-corrosion performance of epoxy zinc-rich primer.
5. Periodically check rope groove wear. Replace the drum shell once reaching wear limit to prevent unexpected equipment breakdown.
