Product Description

This double winch drum is made of Q355B steel. The left and right drums adopt 60° right-hand and 60° left-hand Lebus grooving for synchronous rope retraction and release. It features rated pull of 363KN, suitable for Φ35.5mm steel wire rope, with rope capacity of 438m×2 for 7 layers. The drum is sandblasted and coated with grey epoxy zinc-rich primer. Rigorous welding eliminates pores and slag inclusions to guarantee reliable performance under heavy load.

Application

This double Lebus grooved winch drum is engineered for synchronous lifting operations. It ensures simultaneous retraction and release of two steel ropes to prevent rope crowding and disorder. It is widely used in offshore cranes, port lifting equipment, mine hoists and large crawler cranes. With high load capacity and anti-corrosion coating, it performs reliably under harsh outdoor, humid and dusty environments for heavy-duty & long rope winding projects. Custom manufacturing is available to fit various heavy winch systems.

Advantages

3. Complete anti-corrosion treatment: the drum is sandblasted and coated with grey epoxy zinc-rich primer, plus waterproof silicone sealing on specified areas. It offers excellent rust resistance in humid, dusty and offshore harsh working conditions.
4. Large rope capacity for 7 layers of winding, 438m rope storage per side to support long-distance lifting operations. The clutch is made of S45C-H steel with high strength and stable power transmission.
