The drum sleeve is machined from 40Cr alloy steel, featuring right-hand rope grooves with a pitch of 65.24mm and total 38 grooves. It has a groove bottom diameter of Φ640mm and precisely machined inner bore Φ605H11 with tight tolerance for accurate assembly. High-precision groove machining ensures neat wire rope arrangement and reduces rope wear and tangling. Customization is available for various hoisting winch applications.

Matters Need to Attention

• Inspect the inner bore and rope grooves surface of the drum sleeve before assembly, remove burrs and iron scraps, and confirm no processing defects prior to installation.
• Ensure good coaxiality during assembly. Forcible pressing is forbidden to prevent inner bore deformation and loss of rotating precision.
• Verify the wire rope specification matches before operation. Overloading is prohibited during working to avoid groove damage caused by impact load.
• Regularly check rope groove wear, clean debris inside grooves and apply proper lubrication to extend service life of drum shell and wire rope.
• Store in dry and ventilated place with proper protection, avoid collision and scratches on the precision-machined groove surface.
