1.Product Description

This Lebus luffing drum is a high-quality welded wire rope drum specially developed for crane luffing mechanisms. It is fabricated from Q355C high-strength low-alloy steel with M4 working class for medium and heavy-duty lifting operations. The barrel is precision machined with right-hand Lebus parallel rope grooves. The groove root diameter is 750mm with 46 standard grooves and a pitch of 26mm. It is perfectly designed for multi-layer wire rope spooling, fundamentally eliminating common failures such as wire rope crushing, rope biting, cross-winding and rope jumping.

The assembly is integrally welded by barrel, left & right side plates, shaft and pressure plate components. The barrel is preferably rolled from a single steel plate for superior structural integrity. All butt welds comply with Class 1 weld standard and pass NDT inspection. After welding, the assembly undergoes overall stress relief annealing to remove internal welding stress, followed by integrated precision machining to strictly control coaxiality and end runout. Manufactured fully in accordance with JB/T9006-2013 crane drum standard, it delivers outstanding stability, low failure rate and long service life, widely applied to engineering cranes, port machinery and offshore lifting winches.
